Education

To truly eradicate breast cancer, we must invest in research for a cure for future generations, as well as help meet the immediate breast health needs of women and their families facing the disease today.

In addition to raising funds for breast health programs for underserved women around the state, the Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure also operates an education and outreach program to raise public awareness.

One of the main ways Komen Arkansas spreads our message is by attending health fairs around the state. Our volunteers set up booths and distribute educational materials about breast health and breast-self exams.
