2004 Build for the Cure™ Idea House

The 2004 Build for the Cure™ began with a preview party showcasing condominiums in the Little Rock River District's new First Security Building, which were decorated by local interior designers. The creativity of these designers and the nighttime views of the Little Rock skyline combined to create a special evening.

The condos remained open for tours during designated hours, six days a week, from October 30 through November 2l. Several other special events were held during the open house period, concluding with a party, November 19, honoring sponsors of all Affiliate events. Build for the Cure™ was featured in the November 2004 issue of At Home in Arkansas, founding sponsor of the event.

Downtown Little Rock was full of excitement with so many events and activities during the project. Our timing allowed international exposure. The total raised was $110,000 with over 5,000 people viewing the condominiums. All of these funds will be used to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease.

This enormous project would be impossible without our remarkable group of designers, builders, committee members and volunteers. Each group outdo themselves, and this year was no exception.
