Visit Applebee's at Warden Road in NLR, Hot Springs, Chenal Parkway in LR, Mabelvale Plaza in Little Rock and Benton and make a donation to Komen in honor or memory of a loved one.  All proceeds will be donated to Komen

October 1st thru October 31st - U.S. Pizza Company

Visit U.S. Pizza in the Heights, Hillcrest, Maumelle, Levy, McCain, JFK, Rodney Parham or Fairpark to purchase a limited edition long sleeve shirt titled All U.S. in for the Cure.  All proceeds will benefit Komen.

October 2nd - Try It On For The Cure at Coldwater Creek at Chenal Promenade

Try on a pair of pants and $1 will be donated to the Arkansas Affiliate.  In addition, enjoy $25 off for every $50 purchased on any clothing.  While supplies last, receive a pink bracelet with every purchase.

October 4th - Fit for the Cure - Wacoal

Governor Beebe has declared October 7th as Go Pink For The Cure Day.  We ask everyone to wear pink and decorate storefronts and homefronts in pink to draw attention to Susan G. Komen and good breast health.  Make a donation in honor of your town at the Go Pink for the Cure page.  For more information, call the Komen office at 501-202-4393.

October 8th - Gemini Salon at Cabot Fest

Visit with Gemini Salon at Cabot Fest and register for prizes.  Also, get pink hair extensions for $5.  All proceeds will be donated to Komen.

October 16 - Pink Wine Dinner at Ashley's in the Capitol Hotel

Enjoy a five course meal designed by Chef Lee Richardson which will be paired with pink wines.  Tickets are $200 each.  For more information, call the Komen office at 501-202-4393.

October 17th - Dig for the Cure

Show your support of the Komen Mission year round with this special license plate. For more information, contact your local revenue office or go to  http://uams.edu/licenseplate/  
Proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Affiliates in Little Rock, Fayetteville, and Texarkana, as well as UAMS/ACRC.

Rally for the Cure

Rally for the Cure(r) is a partnership with Golf For Women magazine, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the volunteer Ambassadors and the participants. Since it's inception in 1996, this awareness-driven campaign has spread the life-saving message of early detection to more than one million active Rally for the Cure® participants and to the people in their lives. In 2006, more than 3,300 Rally Ambassadors signed up over 180,000 golfers who became first-hand recipients of the important messages about early detection.

It's easy to Rally! A coordinator at Rally Headquarters will help guide you, the volunteer Rally "Ambassador" through the process. Your club designates a date as the group's Rally for the Cure® day. The event may be part of a regular play day, an existing tournament or you can hold a tournament designed especially for Rally for the Cure®.
