2008-2009 Grantees

The Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure made history last year when for the first time it awarded grants totaling $1 million.  The trend continued in the 2008-2009 grant cycle, as Komen for the Cure awarded 28 checks to Arkansas organizations totaling more than $1.2 million.  These grants support community-based programs that provide the medically underserved with access to breast health/breast cancer education, screening, diagnostic, and treatment support services.
