THE PROPOSED PROJECT’S PRIMARY GOAL IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF WOMEN OVER 40 IN CROSS, WOODRUFF, AND ST. FRANCIS COUNTIES WHO RECEIVE A MAMMOGRAM AT CROSSRIDGE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL. THE INCREASE IN MAMMMOGRAPHY SCREENING WILL REDUCE THE NUMBER OF WOMEN DYING OF BREAST CANCER BY IMPROVING EARLY DETECTION AND TREATMENT AND BY PROVIDING REDUCED COST MAMMOGRAMS.
