                               Arkansas who do not have health insurance or qualify for BreastCare

                            Grant, Phillips, Clark, Logan, Lonoke, Pople, Bradley

 

 The Breast Screening Project provides life-saving screening among low socioeconomic minorities and medically
underserved women in Central Arkansas. Specifically, the program provides screening mammograms, unilateral
diagnostics, bilateral diagnostics, ultrasounds, cyst aspirations, core biopsies, and educational materials along with
the continuum of services at the Women's Resource Center. These services are provided by a Breast Health Specialist
who assesses and monitors the physica, psychological, and social needs of the patient as well as educating patients
regarding treatment options, support services and self-care.
