The Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU) has recognized barriers to women obtaining mammograms:
access, affordability, and time constraints. The MMU program addresses these problems by
traveling to remote areas and workplaces to offer quick and efficient, reduced cost mammograms
in underserved populations.
