The Breast Cancer Awareness Program improves access and availability of services to rural, low income, medically underserved women. Women are assessed clinically for breast cancer risk factors. Clinical Breast Exam and Self-Breast Exam education is provided to all women who are users of Corning Area Healthcare, Inc (CAHI). With this grant, CAHI is able to provide mammograms, breast ultrasounds, surgical consults and biopsies to our indigent patients and underinsured patients. All of these services are covered at no cost to the patients through this grant.
