in celebration of Komen Arkansas' 20th Anniversary

What is the Power of 20?  Ask 20 people for $10 to help us find the cure for breast cancer - that's $200.  If each Race participant raises $200, Komen Arkansas could collect more than $2 MILLION DOLLARS to fund local breast cancer programs and research and pay for mammograms in Arkansas.  Can you raise $200?  Yes, you can, and we have ideas to assist and prizes for incentive!

How does a 5K Race make a huge impact on the global movement to end breast cancer forever?  Through the fundraising efforts of every participant.

You don’t need to be a fundraising expert to be successful at it – you just need the desire to stand up to breast cancer and make a difference.  Thanks to people like you that registered and raised funds in the 2012 Race, the Komen Arkansas Affiliate was able to fund over $1 million for education, screening and treatment services in 63 of the 75 Arkansas counties.  this year, we’re aiming even higher!  If every Race participant raises an average of $100 over the registration fee, the Komen Arkansas Affiliate will raise an additional $4.5 million!  Together, we can save lives!

Fundraising is easy with online fundraising tools! When you register for the Race, you automatically receive your own fundraising website which can be personalized. While participation is optional, we would love for you to personalize your page and fundraise.  Individuals who raise money and are on a team will have their fundraising money count towards their personal goal as well as their team's fundraising goal.  What a deal!  AND, each individual who raises over $250 will hae the option to participate in the additional prize program (details below).

1.  Raise $150 and receive a newly designed fundraising T-shirt featuring this year's theme:  All In (stay tuned for the 2013 t-shirt design) 

2.  NEW PRIZES AND NEW LEVELS!  We are teaming up with Summit Marketing to give you the chance to earn an awesome prize.  At the end of the fundraising program (November 22, 2013), we will email vouchers for you to choose a prize in your prize level or in any prize level below.  For example, if you raised $5,000, but wanted the prize in th $2,500 Level, you would have the option to choose. There will be only one prize per participant awarded.  Check out some of the prizes:
