Pink Goes Green
New this year, the Race for the Cure partnered with Reginal Recycling and Waste Management in a Pink Goes Green initiative - to reduce waste and gather recycling materials. All while educating Race goers about the importance of a healthy environment. The had a special registration for Race participants - you could register to win one of several earth friendly bicycles and pink scooters (one for adults and two for children). Their booth also had lots of information on new programs, including the new rewards program for recycling in your area!
